A handy toolkit to make learning at home easier

We want to make home learning easier for you, which is why we have been working hard to put together a toolkit of resources and activities to ensure your little ones can continue to develop and learn outside of their usual classroom or nursery environment.

We know that home schooling can be tough so we have simplified our range into categories to ensure all areas are covered.

Literacy and Communication

We have a whole host of literacy and communication resources to learn letters, sounds, early phonics and pre-writing skills, but here are three of our essentials.

Alphabet Puzzle: Alphabet puzzles are not only great for learning letters but are good for the mind and cognitive development. Each letter has a colourful design with the aim of engaging children for longer.

Storytelling: Our favourites include, The Gruffalo’s Child, A Squash and a Squeeze and The Very Hungry Caterpillar all of which can be brought to life using the finger puppets included.

Calendar Charts: Calendar charts are a fun activity to do together every morning – with hook and loop pieces you can change the day, date, month, year, season and weather. This product is not only excellent for learning but is handy for the whole household.

Numeracy

Let’s bring maths to life with colours and shapes, counting and sorting, matching and patterns, and time and measurement. But first, let’s look at learning to count and recognising numbers.

Learning to Count: This educational wooden puzzle acts as a fun introduction to mathematics and counting.

Number Formation Wipe Boards: The wipe boards feature a 0 – 9 number formation which can be easily traced and will help children develop their understanding of numbers. These are handy for everyday use as they can be wiped easily.

Understanding the World

As we are spending a lot of time at home, it is vital in early development that we continue to teach children about the communities we live in, as well as understanding our feelings and emotions

We have a whole host of resources to help children express their feelings, particularly during times of anxiety and uncertainty.

Arts and Crafts

We have all the components you need to make a masterpiece!
