Get to know more about the Eduzone team by meeting Eleanor, one of our Key Account Managers!
Name: Eleanor Hendry
Tell us a bit about your role at Eduzone:
I am a Key Account Manager, working with and look after our lovely Eduzone customers and making sure they have everything they need from us!
What did you get up to before joining the Eduzone team?
Before I moved to Eduzone, I was working for our sister company ESPO. I started out as a Customer Services Advisor and worked closely with the Buying team, where I gained lots of knowledge about our ranges and products. I moved into the Sales team shortly after as an Account Manager for schools and then finally over to the Eduzone team to look after our Early Years customers! My past experiences and looking after different customer bases has helped me to really understand the Early Years and Education market and how I can offer our customers the best service and help for them.
How do you like to start the working day?
On days where I head into the office, I’ll often stop off and grab coffees/breakfast for our Eduzone team - and pick up a cappuccino and a hash brown for myself of course! But more recently, it’s been a strong black coffee in my favourite mug and blasting Radio 1 to wake me up and get me ready for a day of working from home!
What is the highlight of your role?
I love getting out and about, visiting customers and meeting new people, but my highlight has to be getting to see all of the beautiful and creative spaces our customers create for children and how they use our products within their settings!
What is your favourite Eduzone product/category/collection?
My favourite would have to be our Loose Parts play collection! It’s a super versatile collection full of products that are great for inspiring imaginative play and encouraging creative thinking – letting children learn and explore through play!
What makes Eduzone unique?
Definitely our commitment to offering exceptional and personal customer service and support to our customers. We value our customers experiences and input and love working closely with them to help improve our offering and services!
What should customers look out for in 2021?
Come and see us at Childcare EXPO Midlands on 24 - 25 September! We’re exhibiting for the first time in almost two years so it will be great to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones too. We can’t wait to show you our new products and what we’ve been working on - we will be on stand D12, come say hi!
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Travelling and eating are two of my favourite things to do! I love to cook and have always loved trying new things and exploring new places. Some of our favourite places we have been to are Iceland, Budapest and Mexico. After the last 18 months, we’re looking forward to hopefully adding lots more amazing places to the list very soon…
